Castings Technology had the honour of hosting the Lord Mayor and his Consort, his 90yo father, on Tuesday this week.

His father had worked in steel plants his whole working life and so was particularly interested in the cranes and furnaces.

The Lord Mayor even bumped into an old school friend as he toured site…

It was such a delight to discuss all things titanium, as well as our future plans with them.

Their family background was fascinating to hear and with the Lord Mayor’s unique approach to his work and town, we are sure the positive changes in Rotherham will continue.
